Litchi and pear lead the opening, bright and juicy against a sharp bergamot and grapefruit edge. The fruit feels fresh rather than candied, giving the start a clean lift that avoids heavy sweetness. It moves quickly into the heart where Turkish rose takes center stage, rich and slightly spicy. Oud and incense arrive alongside the rose, adding a smoky, resinous depth that pulls the composition away from a simple fruity floral. The rose does not dominate quietly. It sits prominently with the darker materials, creating a contrast between the vivid top and the solemn middle.
The base brings vanilla and amber forward, smooth and warm, balanced by musk and a dry vetiver thread. The vanilla is noticeable but does not overwhelm the woody and resinous elements already in place. Powdery and floral accords soften the sharper edges of the incense and oud, making the drydown feel rounded. The scent stays in an oriental floral space throughout, moving from fruit to flower to resin without losing its original character. Each layer remains distinct while contributing to a single, cohesive direction.
This fragrance fits a cool morning or an evening with a jacket, when the air has a bite and the light is low. The fruit and vanilla feel appropriate against that kind of backdrop, and the rose and oud give it enough weight to carry through a changing temperature. It suits someone who enjoys rose paired with deep, dark materials and does not mind a prominent incense presence. The sweetness is balanced by the resin and wood, so it does not lean into gourmand territory even when the vanilla is present.
The synthetic edge in the opening fruit is noticeable and may bother those who prefer a natural smelling citrus and litchi. The incense and oud can also feel heavy handed, lacking the refinement found in more expensive compositions. It is a bold mix that does not try to soften its sharper aspects.
