Poudrée opens with a soft blend of cotton flower and rose. The cotton flower gives a clean, slightly crisp edge to the petals, while the rose stays light and dry rather than lush. Jasmine threads through early on, adding a white floral lift that keeps the opening from feeling heavy.
Tonka bean and heliotrope shape the center of the fragrance. The tonka brings a gentle warmth that leans toward almond without turning sweet, and heliotrope smooths the edges of the florals. Vanilla sits underneath, supporting the powdery accord instead of pushing forward as a dessert note.
Musk grounds the base and gives the composition a smooth finish. The powdery accord remains present throughout, tying the florals to the warmer notes. Rose and jasmine continue into the dry part of the wear, so the floral character never fully disappears behind the softer base materials.
The scent fits a quiet evening indoors when the air feels cool and the light is low. It works just as well for a walk under gray skies with a scarf pulled up, when the air is crisp enough to make something soft and close feel comforting against the skin.
