Artemisia
Fragrance notes
Character
Artemisia opens with a cool spray of mint and bright citruses that feel clean and immediate. The artemisia note adds a slightly bitter, herbal edge that keeps the start from leaning too sweet. This opening feels crisp and green, moving quickly into the heart of the composition.
Lavender takes over the center with a soft, powdery presence. Orange blossom sits alongside it, adding a light floral touch that rounds out the sharper herbal tones. The combination creates a smooth transition from the fresh top into a warmer, more settled middle.
The base brings amber, sandalwood, vanilla, and cedar together. Vanilla adds a gentle sweetness that blends with the creamy sandalwood and dry cedar. Amber ties the woods and the floral heart into a cohesive finish that feels warm without becoming heavy.
The powdery lavender and amber accord can feel a bit dated to some wearers. The vanilla also leans noticeably synthetic, which may distract from the natural herbal opening. This composition does not offer much development once the base settles on the skin.
