Our take

Stefan opens with tangerine and lavender that feel cool and bright, softened by cyclamen that keeps the citrus from turning sharp. It is a clean, upright start that feels composed rather than loud, with the fruit sitting next to the herb in a way that reads natural and easy.

Nutmeg enters next and brings a gentle heat, while guaiac wood adds a dry, faintly resinous edge. The transition stays smooth rather than dramatic, moving from that bright opening into something warmer and more textured without losing the clarity that defined the first impression.

Sandalwood and vetiver form a steady foundation, with amber lending a golden warmth and musk wrapping the whole composition in a soft, powdery finish. The woods feel polished and modern, not rugged, and the overall impression stays aromatic and aquatic even as the base settles in.

Kazu Glen Diaz composed this for a man who dresses well on a cool evening and wants to smell put together without drawing attention to the fact. It fits a dinner out in fall or a late winter gathering where the air is crisp and the mood is relaxed.
