Violet Creek
Fragrance notes
Character
Violet Creek can feel thin if you expect a heavy, resinous floral. The benzoin and rose are present, but they do not wrap the skin in a thick blanket. Instead, the air here is crisp and damp, the kind of morning where a creek runs cold over dark stones. You stand near the water's edge, where the ground is soft with moss. The scent rises from the earth itself, a mix of crushed violet leaf and wet oakmoss that smells exactly like the shaded bank of a forest stream. Ginger adds a bright, sharp bite to the air, cutting through the cool dampness without turning the atmosphere warm. Vetiver pushes through the green growth, its roots tangled in the mud, giving the scene a dry, aromatic anchor that keeps the water from feeling too cold. It is a clear, transparent moment, the water moving fast over the rocks while the woods stand still and quiet around you. The entire scene stays close to the body, a personal pocket of nature carried through a walk in the woods. The air remains ozonic and green.
