Jasmine and tonka bean sit in the heart. The flower is pale here, almost ghostly, and the tonka adds a soft, powdery sweetness that tries to calm the opening. It is a gentle warmth against the sharp fruit.
Castoreum and myrrh dominate the foundation. The resin is dark and sticky, while the castoreum brings a heavy, animalic leather scent. It smells like a dense, smoky balsam that clings to fabric and skin.
Composed by Weston Adam, this is a heavy, challenging wear for quiet, grey days indoors. The rhubarb never fully fades, leaving a sour tension that clashes with the deep, resinous base. It feels unbalanced and slightly abrasive.
