Pepper lands next, sharp and brief, before the scene shifts toward leather and vetiver. The leather here is dry and worked, more like a worn glove than a polished shoe, and the vetiver underneath carries an earthy root smell that keeps the herbs from floating away. Cocoa sits low in the blend, a dark powder that never becomes sweet, and patchouli adds a damp, forest floor weight. Ambroxan wraps the whole picture in a soft amber haze that stays near the skin and moves only a short distance from the collar.
The materials lean synthetic in the opening minute, especially the citrus, which smells like a compound rather than a peeled fruit. That artificial edge fades but never fully disappears, and the cocoa lacks the roundness of real chocolate. The scent holds its shape through a morning without thinning too much, though it never expands outward to fill a space. It is a dry, herbal leather for a bright day, built with ambition and a few rough edges.
