Our take

The first spritz is a bright, citrusy shrug of bergamot and orange blossom, but don’t be fooled. That opening is a decoy. Within minutes, La Voie becomes a heavy-handed tuberose and Indian jasmine duo that feels less like a garden and more like a white floral avalanche. The base of vanilla, white musk, and cedar tries to ground it in creamy powder, but the animalic undertone pokes through like a wilful, uninvited guest. The overall impression is a woman pressing a handkerchief of tuberose oil to her throat, then stepping into a crowded subway car, all confidence and cloying sweetness.

This is a synthetic floral that borrows the silhouette of a niche white-flower bomb but lands squarely in mainstream territory, loud and linear with a sillage that wavers around 2.98 and longevity that fades hours before you want it to. That combination is its real weakness: it shouts but has neither the projection nor the stamina to back it up. Best worn on a sunny spring afternoon, when the warmth smooths its edges, and strictly for daytime wear. It suits someone who loves tuberose in its most unapologetic form and skips anyone who prefers subtlety or airy florals. Is there a more fitting name than La Voie, a fragrance that goes down one single, relentless path without detour?
