Fragrance notes
Character
Earth by Inubi opens with a bright, immediately recognizable burst of orange and grapefruit. The citrus is clean and direct, presenting a sunny introduction that feels vivid without becoming sharp. As the fragrance develops, the heart introduces pepper and pink pepper alongside geranium. The spices add a lively, tingling quality that sits comfortably with the remaining citrus. Geranium brings a green, slightly floral touch that keeps the composition from leaning too heavily into heat. The transition from the juicy top to the spiced heart feels smooth and well balanced.
The base settles into patchouli, cedar, and vetiver. Patchouli provides an earthy depth that gives the fragrance its name, while cedar offers a dry, woody structure. Vetiver contributes a grassy, root-like character that complements the patchouli nicely. Together, they create a grounded finish that feels natural and masculine. The overall scent is fresh, spicy, and woody with a noticeable sweetness that lingers throughout. The accord list includes a rose note that is not obvious in the official pyramid, and this invisible floral element sometimes makes the dry down feel slightly muddled compared to the clear opening.
