Character
Sunlight hits the terrace railing and the air carries a sharp slice of Calabrian bergamot and grapefruit, the kind of brightness that feels like the table has just been wiped clean. Italian mandarin follows close behind, rounder and sweeter, weaving through a small cluster of peony that keeps the citrus from turning flat. A trace of amber warms the edges without pulling the scene into shadow, and the whole room smells of juice on skin and the faint dust of stone under a clear sky.
Someone sets a glass down and the white musk settles near the wrists, a soft blur that makes the sharp opening feel lived in rather than staged. The mandarin keeps shifting against the peony, sometimes leaning green, sometimes leaning sweet, while the bergamot and grapefruit linger in the background like a window left open. Amber glows quietly beneath them, never loud, and the musk holds the shape together so the air stays fresh and a little floral, the way a morning feels when the light has already been there for a while
