Our take

Orange blossom and pear sit on a sunlit café table, cut through by a sharp flick of pink pepper that makes the air feel awake. A cup of black coffee arrives, its bitter edge wrapping around jasmine petals that have fallen near the saucer. Licorice twists through the scent, dark and slightly medicinal, while bitter almond adds a dry, almost chalky softness that keeps the fruit from feeling bright.

The wood of the chair and the nearby cedar planks seem to rise into the air as cashmere wood and patchouli settle into the scene. Vanilla warms the space, but it stays quiet, never turning heavy or dessert-like. The moment feels composed and a little serious, with spicy threads pulling the white florals away from anything playful. It is a clear, grounded picture, more about depth than sparkle.

The one limitation is the licorice. It dominates the heart so strongly that the jasmine and coffee barely get a chance to speak. If you dislike that particular root, the entire composition will feel unbalanced and sharp. It asks for a specific tolerance, and without it, the beauty of the orange blossom and pear is lost too early in the experience.
