Encens Kapnos
Fragrance notes
Character
Red fruits lead the first moments, bright and slightly tart against the skin. They give way to frankincense and leather in the heart, where the smoke feels dry and the hide carries a natural roughness. The leather does not dominate. It sits beside the resin so that each breath offers both the sting of burning gum and the warmth of worn material.
The same frankincense returns in the base with musk, softening the edges without removing the smoke. Amber and woody accords wrap the composition in a gentle heat, while fresh spicy and warm spicy touches keep the air around it lively. Sweetness is present but restrained, and the animalic facet stays in the background, adding depth rather than weight.
The scent stays close throughout the wear, moving only a short distance from the body. It remains steady for a reasonable span before the notes begin to fade, never demanding attention in a room. That nearness makes the leather and resin feel personal, as if the fragrance belongs to the skin rather than the space.
Cool air and quiet streets suit it best, when a coat keeps the warmth in and the resin can linger against the cold. The smoke curls upward from a small bowl placed on a wooden table.
