L'Entier
Fragrance notes
Character
Sunlight hits the pale stones of a courtyard wall, and the air carries a brightness lifted by bergamot. It is a quick opening, a clean citrus thread that does not linger once the day settles in. The space soon fills with something softer, where orris brings a grounded, root-like powder and clary sage spreads a green, slightly mineral calm across the air. Palmarosa adds a gentle, rosy warmth that keeps the heart from feeling cold.
The true weight of L'Entier lives in what follows. Vanilla absolute and tonka bean create a thick, golden sweetness that rests heavily on the skin, while coumarin deepens the blend with a familiar, hay-like warmth. Laotian oud enters with a dark, resinous texture, and sandalwood smooths the edges into a creamy, polished wood. Ambergris ties the base together with a salty, animalic glow that stops the sweetness from becoming flat. The scent stays close to the body, yet it remains present for a long while as the notes slowly meld into one another.
You sit on a stone bench with your sleeves rolled up, and the warmth of the air mixes with the vanilla and wood rising from your wrist. A fountain murmurs in the background, and the pale liquid in your glass catches the same golden tone that now lives on your skin.
