Feral Housewife
Fragrance notes
Character
The coriander and lemongrass can feel sharp enough to bite, a metallic edge that scrapes against the skin before the softer elements arrive. Guava sits uneasily beside tar and sawdust, creating a friction that some will find jarring rather than complex. This is not a smooth blend where every element hugs the next. The aromatic herbs push forward with a brisk, almost clinical freshness that refuses to soften its posture.
Snow melts against a weathered porch where someone has been sanding old floorboards. Wet sawdust mixes with the sticky juice of a guava sliced open on a chipped plate, the fruit sweetness fighting against the dark, heavy scent of tar used to seal the roof. Lemongrass stalks lie discarded near the steps, their citrus brightness cut by the grit of coriander seeds crushed underfoot. The air is cold enough that the tropical fruit smells out of place, a bright intrusion against the mineral dampness of thawing ground and exposed wood.
A winter garden shed left open, filled with the clash of tropical fruit and rough timber.
