Our take

Tyrannique opens with bright citrus that feels immediate and clean. French orange flower and neroli lead the way, followed closely by sweet orange. The effect is fresh and lightly green, with a soft lift that does not turn sharp. It stays close to a classic citrus floral start, offering a clear introduction that prepares the nose for the heavier flowers waiting underneath.

The heart brings tuberose forward alongside lilac, ylang-ylang, and magnolia. Tuberose carries the blend with a creamy weight, while lilac and magnolia add a gentle, slightly powdery touch. Ylang-ylang rounds the group with a warm, faintly exotic tone. Together they create a dense white floral core that feels full and steady, moving the fragrance away from the initial brightness into something richer and more persistent.

Musk and ambrette settle in with vanilla to form a base that feels smooth and slightly animalic. The musk wraps the white flowers in a skin-like warmth, while ambrette adds a subtle seed-like depth. Vanilla sweetens the drydown without overwhelming the florals that continue to drift through. The result is a layered finish that keeps the earlier flowers present as the softer base notes
