Valferra Spirit
Fragrance notes
Character
Valferra Spirit opens with a bright, tart snap of grapefruit and green apple that immediately meets the cooling touch of lavender and rosemary. Black pepper and peppertree add a sharp, resinous bite to the citrus, keeping the entrance crisp rather than sweet. As the initial fruit fades, the heart reveals a dense forest of woods. Cashmere wood and cedar provide a dry, textured foundation, while patchouli and labdanum introduce a deep, earthy richness. Geranium adds a faint floral lift, but the overall impression is grounded and masculine, moving steadily away from the bright top notes into something far more serious and enveloping.
The amber and musk in the base wrap the woods in a warm, powdery blanket that feels heavy on the skin. This is a scent for a man walking through a quiet neighborhood after a heavy rain, his coat collar turned up against the chill as streetlights reflect off wet pavement. It suits someone who prefers a fragrance with weight and presence over something airy and casual. Those who dislike patchouli or find powdery amber too old-fashioned should look elsewhere. The air smells of damp cedar planks and crushed dark leaves clinging to a stone path.
