Zankle
Fragrance notes
Character
Zankle opens with black pepper and bergamot. The pepper is sharp and immediate, the bergamot bright and clean. Pink pepper joins in the heart, adding a lighter heat beside the lavender. Lavender is the center here, soft and steady, with geranium lending a green edge and vetiver a dry, earthy thread.
Patchouli and cedar anchor the base, supported by ambroxan's musk. The result is woody and aromatic, with a sweet touch that stays in check. It feels modern and composed, sitting between casual and formal without leaning too far into either. The herbal accord runs quietly throughout.
This is a fragrance for a sunlit courtyard in the middle of the city, where stone walls hold the warmth and the air smells of fresh pepper, dry wood, and clean lavender drifting from an open window.
