It feels clean and immediate, with the mint lending a clear edge to the lavender’s softness. As the fragrance develops, the heart introduces cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and geranium. The spices are warm but not heavy, and the geranium adds a dry, slightly floral lift that keeps the cinnamon from dominating. The base settles into patchouli, cedar, and oakmoss. The cedar is dry and upright, the oakmoss brings a damp, earthy texture, and the patchouli adds a dark, woody depth. The overall impression is aromatic and green, moving between fresh spicy and warm spicy without leaning too far in either direction.
The composition stays cohesive across its notes, but the watermelon and mint in the opening can feel slightly detached from the spicy, woody base. The transition between the juicy top and the earthy drydown is not perfectly smooth, and the fruit can read as an added layer rather than a fully integrated part of the structure. The spice blend is pleasant and familiar, though it does not offer much that feels distinctive within the fougere style. The oakmoss and patchouli give it a traditional, slightly rugged character that some will appreciate and others will find dated.
