Character
Dew drop and lime peel lead the opening with a bright, wet citrus that feels clean and immediate. Black currant adds a small fruity roundness without turning the start sweet or heavy. The top feels fresh and slightly cool, moving quickly into the greener part of the composition.
Lavender and rosemary take over with an herbal clarity that stays dry and upright. Frankincense enters quietly and gives the heart a faint resinous weight that keeps the herbs from feeling thin. The middle stays aromatic and composed, never leaning powdery or soft.
Moss, patchouli, and vetiver form a base that is earthy, woody, and quietly damp. The patchouli carries a dark soil tone while vetiver adds a clean, rooty edge. Moss pulls the finish toward a shaded, forest-adjacent feel that matches the fresh spicy accord already present in the airier layers.
The frankincense here reads a bit flat and synthetic, which breaks the natural impression the moss and vetiver otherwise build. It sits slightly apart from the herbs instead of blending into them, leaving a small artificial note in the middle that some wearers will notice.
