Our take

Caramel Lover by Nimere Parfums is a perfume for people who want a gourmand that refuses to stay edible. The opening pairs caramel and kumquat with pink pepper, giving the sugar a bright, slightly sharp edge. As it develops, rose and jasmine sit beside turmeric and ginger in the heart, adding a floral warmth that keeps the sweetness from becoming a flat line. This is not a simple dessert scent. The image it builds is a heavy velvet curtain in a dim room, rich and slightly overwhelming.

The base is where the argument settles. Tolu balsam, benzoin, and Peru balsam create a thick resinous foundation, while tonka bean, vanilla, honey, and almond push the sugar further. White musk, sandalwood, patchouli, cedar, guaiac wood, and Siam add wood. Myrrh, incense, styrax, labdanum, and castoreum bring a dark, animalic depth that pulls the caramel into something smoky and ancient. It smells like a heavy cloak worn on a cold night walk.

Composed by Nikolay Eremin, this unisex release suits wearers who enjoy bold, resin-heavy compositions that lean fully into their gourmand roots. The limitation is the castoreum and civet. These animalic notes give the fragrance its distinct character, but they also make it a difficult choice for anyone who prefers clean, modern sweetness.
