Bermuda Blue opens with a bright citrus spray that turns thin quickly. The grapefruit and clementine arrive sharp and clean, then fade into the background faster than the rest of the composition can catch up. This leaves a gap in the early wear where the scent feels like it is missing a middle step.
The heart fills in with lotus, honeysuckle, peach blossom, lily-of-the-valley, freesia, and lilac. It is a dense floral mix that leans sweet and fresh at the same time. The peach blossom adds a soft fruitiness that keeps the white florals from feeling too stern, while the lilac and freesia give the blend a gentle lift.
Sandalwood and musk form a light base that stays close and does not try to deepen the fragrance too much. The wood is smooth and the musk is clean, but they do not add much weight. This keeps the whole scent in a bright, airy register that suits warm air and open windows.
It is a good match for a morning walk when the sun is already warm and the air smells like clean water and blooming trees. The scent feels like a white towel drying on a line outside.
