Linderhof am Morgen
Fragrance notes
Character
Linderhof am Morgen opens with a sharp green snap. Hyacinth and rhubarb lead the way, bright and tart, while buchu adds a slightly medicinal edge that keeps the start from feeling purely sweet. The green impression is immediate and lingers as the fragrance develops.
The heart settles into a dense floral blend. Peony, orange blossom, mimosa, and jasmine create a layered white floral character, softened by the creamy texture of fig and the gentle roundness of peach. The composition feels smooth and rich, moving steadily toward a base of vanilla, tonka bean, amber, and benzoin. Cashmere wood and cedar provide a warm, slightly dry foundation that supports the sweetness without dominating it.
The overall mood is warm and enveloping, suited to evening wear when the air feels still and the light is low. The blend stays close to its floral and amber core throughout. The one drawback is the buchu in the opening, which can read as harsh and slightly sour against the soft florals, creating a disjointed first impression before the sweeter notes take hold.
