Our take

In White opens like a glass of ice water spiked with mint and squeezed Amalfi lemon, a sharp, almost medicinal clarity that quickly softens into the sweet blush of peach and pear. The jasmine floats through the middle like a clean white sheet drying on a line in the sun, floral but not heavy, more laundry-fresh than heady. What lingers is a pale, watery fruit salad that has been left out just a little too long — pleasant, but barely whispering on the skin after an hour.

The whole thing feels natural in a demure, body-spray kind of way, never pushing past polite. It is a scent built for a spring morning when you want to smell like you just stepped out of a shower and picked a handful of mint from the garden. But the longevity is a genuine disappointment: two hours and it is gone, and even at its peak the sillage is a soft halo rather than a statement. You will reapply, or you will accept that this is a fleeting ghost of a fragrance.

Who should wear it? The person who wants a cheerful, easygoing pick-me-up, not a project or a performance. Skip it if you need a perfume to last through dinner or announce your arrival from across the room. Wear it to brunch on a Sunday in April, or to a daytime garden party where the real fragrance is the air itself. It is a pretty postcard, not a novel, and that is fine — as long as you don’t expect it to stay in the mailbox. 🍑🌿
