The heavy glass door swings shut behind you and the late-night gallery goes quiet, the kind of stillness that carries the scent of polished wood and chilled air. Glory sits in the room like a thick bouquet of white flowers and yellow narcissus arranged in a tall vase near the windows. The petals feel creamy and dense, each breath pulling up a green edge that keeps the blossoms from turning flat.
