Baccvs
Fragrance notes
Character
Baccvs gathers karo karounde, gardenia, and star anise around a core of cognac, rum, honey, and cacao. Nutmeg and juniper add a brisk edge to the syrup, while leather, styrax, benzoin, patchouli, and sandalwood give the blend a firm, resinous spine. The white floral aspect is present from the first moment, but it is threaded through spice and smoke rather than arranged as a bright bouquet.
The scent feels heavy and close, suited to a room lit low where conversation moves slowly. Cacao and honey push the sweetness forward, yet the animalic streak and the woody depth keep it from turning soft. Leather and styrax introduce a faint roughness that sits well against the polished floral heart, and the spice never overwhelms the flowers.
Gardenia and karo karounde carry the white floral character, with star anise and nutmeg lending a warm spicy lift. Rum and cognac add a rich, indulgent layer that mirrors the resinous weight of benzoin and styrax. Patchouli and sandalwood hold the base together, leaving a woody, sweet impression that lingers in the air.
