Fragrance notes
Character
A low leather chair sits in a wood-paneled lounge where the air is thick with smoke and quiet conversation. Someone settles into the seat and the room shifts. Black pepper and saffron hit first, dry and bright, while a small burst of raspberry adds a fleeting, jammy sweetness to the air. It is a sharp opening that cuts through the dim space.
The leather arrives quickly, not as a new car interior but as worn material warmed by body heat. Oud and birch give it a resinous, slightly charred edge, while iris smooths the surface with a soft, powdery film. Cashmeran and tonka bean wrap the sharper elements in a creamy, musky warmth that feels heavy against the skin.
Beneath the surface, oakmoss and labdanum ground the scent with an earthy, sticky weight. Sandalwood adds a pale, creamy woodiness that lingers in the background. The animalic accord is present, a raw hint that keeps the composition from feeling too polished or safe. It is a texture as much as a smell.
Ambrette and musk sit close to the skin, blurring the lines between the wearer and the room. The fragrance feels complete here, a blend of spice, wood, and hide. It settles into a final impression of iris and leather.
