Eunoia
Fragrance notes
Character
Eunoia presents a dense blend of amber, caramel, jasmine, sandalwood and vanilla. The white floral facet of jasmine weaves through the thick sweetness of caramel and vanilla, while the amber accord adds a balsamic, warm spicy depth. Powdery and animalic touches sit underneath the surface, giving the composition a slightly raw edge that prevents it from feeling polished. This is a heavy, resinous scent that feels suited to dim lighting and late gatherings where the air is warm and the room is full. It carries a bold personality that demands attention without moving across a space, focusing its weight close to the skin.
The drydown is where the sandalwood and amber take full control, letting the vanilla and caramel recede into a supporting role. The woody base grows darker and more pronounced, with the powdery and animalic accords becoming more noticeable as the other notes settle. The jasmine lingers in the background, now stripped of its initial brightness and merged into the balsamic warmth. The overall impression becomes drier and more resin-heavy, trading the upfront sugar for a deep, slightly untamed woodiness. The limitation here is the animalic streak, which can feel abrasive and overwhelming to those who prefer clean, soft gourmands.
