Belle Suzette
Fragrance notes
Character
Belle Suzette opens with a bright citrus mix of sweet orange, bitter orange, mandarin, and lemon. Rum adds a warm, slightly boozy edge, while butter and pancake notes give the fruit a rich, pastry-like softness. The combination feels sweet and indulgent from the first moment, leaning heavily into comfort rather than freshness.
Clary sage and immortelle bring an herbal, slightly dry contrast to the heart, keeping the floral side of ylang-ylang, Indian jasmine, frangipani, and iris from becoming too lush. Pancake and butter return here, tying the opening to the middle. The blend stays sweet and aromatic, with vanilla and caramel beginning to rise beneath the flowers and herbs.
Guaiac wood, cedar, tonka bean, benzoin, and Peru balsam create a deep, balsamic base. Salt cuts through the sugar, and milk, white musk, and butter smooth the texture. The result is a warm, woody vanilla with caramel and herbal accents that suits cool, sunlit days when the air feels crisp but not freezing. It finishes on a soft spicy and herbal accord.
