Limão Siciliano
Fragrance notes
Character
Limão Siciliano opens with a bright, immediate rush of Sicilian lemon, orange, grapefruit, and pomelo. Rosemary adds a green, slightly resinous edge to the citrus, keeping the start from feeling like a simple fruit bowl. The effect is clean and waking, with a clarity that feels deliberate rather than accidental.
The heart introduces magnolia, geranium, jasmine sambac, lily-of-the-valley, neroli, and orange blossom. These white florals and green florals soften the sharp citrus without muting it. The composition stays airy here, with the orange blossom and neroli lending a gentle, pollen-like sweetness that complements the remaining zest from the top notes.
In the drydown, Haitian vetiver brings an earthy, root-like texture that grounds the fragrance. Musk adds a smooth, skin-close softness, while Siam benzoin contributes a warm, resinous sweetness that feels like a mild amber. This base prevents the scent from evaporating into pure acidity. The vetiver and benzoin work together to give the later stages a subtle, woody resin character that feels more substantial than the opening.
Wear this during a long walk under an open sky when the air is warm and the light is clear. It fits someone who wants a clean, citrus-led scent that develops a gentle, resinous warmth as it settles on the skin.
