Clia opens with a bright splash of mandarin orange that feels immediate and cheerful. Black currant and plum join the citrus quickly, adding a rounded fruitiness that stops short of syrup. The introduction is lively and clean, drawing attention without overwhelming the senses.
The heart shifts toward magnolia and raspberry, where the floral side gains weight. Ozonic notes keep the air around the flowers feeling fresh and open. This stage moves the scent away from heavy sweetness and toward something that feels lighter and more spacious.
Ambergris and musk form a base that leans animalic and warm. The amber accord gives the fruit a slightly salty skin feel, moving the composition into a more intimate register. It sits close and personal, carrying the earlier brightness into a softer, more textured finish.
Clia is composed by Michele Carnevale and targets a feminine wardrobe that enjoys fruit without dessert. The ozonic and animalic edges give it character, but the raspberry note can read synthetic against the magnolia. That artificial fruit tone may bother those who prefer entirely natural florals.
