Character
Plum and strawberry provide a thick, syrupy opening that feels dense on the skin. Saffron threads through those fruits, adding a metallic edge that keeps the sweetness from becoming flat. Thyme brings a dry, herbal pinch to the top layer, cutting the sugar with something green and slightly dusty.
Jasmine and freesia sit beside rose in the heart, their white petals softened by lily-of-the-valley. The flowers do not smell fresh or dewy. They feel warmed by the spices below, creating a humid, heavy floral blanket. The air smells of dried petals stored in a wooden chest.
Cedar and leather take over, the wood providing a dry spine for the animalic weight of ambergris and musk. Vanilla smooths the sharper edges of the hide without turning the blend sugary. A fire burns in a stone pit while cold air drifts in from the open desert, the smoke from the flames mixing with the warmth of a heavy coat.
