07 Golden Amber - Incense & spice
Fragrance notes
Character
The soapy edge hits first and feels a little too clean for what follows. It sits on the skin like a just-washed shirt pulled from a linen closet, crisp and slightly sterile, before the heavier elements arrive to smother that neatness.
Outside, the air is sharp and the pavement is slick with frozen slush. You stand near a brick wall where someone has built a small fire in a metal bin. The orange peels tossed into the flames release a bright, zesty oil that cuts through the grey afternoon. Myrrh and incense drift upward with the smoke, wrapping around the citrus and pulling it into the heat.
Amber and vanilla settle into the air next, thick and golden, melting against the cold draft that kicks up from the street. Frankincense adds a deep, resinous weight while musk grounds the entire scene to your coat collar. It is a heavy, balsamic cloud that feels powdery against the nose, a warm spicy blanket thrown over the shoulders of the city.
The fire pops and a spark leaps upward, caught instantly by the swirl of vanilla and smoke that hangs in the space between your face and the glowing embers, the scent clinging to the wool and following the rhythm of your breath as the orange continues to hiss in the heat
