Our take

Morning light fills a wooden sauna where someone has just poured water over hot stones. The air carries galbanum and violet, green and cool against the heat. Hops add a bitter, herbal edge. Cognac brings a warm, fruity roundness that sits close to the skin. Jasmine sambac and tuberose bloom in the steam, heavy and creamy. Rose and osmanthus offer a soft, apricot-like floral touch. The moment feels alive with contrast.

Incense begins to curl through the room. Palo santo adds a dry, resinous woodiness. Myrrh and saffron deepen the air with their rich, medicinal spice. The white florals linger, now wrapped in amber and balsamic warmth. The initial green sharpness of galbanum has softened into the background. Hops remain, a quiet bitterness that keeps the sweetness of the flowers in check. The scent feels rooted in the wood of the benches.

The atmosphere grows denser. Tuberose and rose merge with myrrh and incense, creating a thick, aromatic cloud. Saffron glows against the pale wood of the walls. Violet hides in the corners, a powdery shadow. Cognac and osmanthus provide a lush, fruity depth that feels almost edible but remains dry. The balsamic accord coats the air. Every breath tastes of resin and ancient flowers. The heat presses the scent into the timber.

Palo santo and myrrh dominate now, a dark, woody foundation that supports the fading white petals. The spice of saffron lingers on the tongue. Galbanum and hops provide a final, sharp breath of the forest outside. The amber and balsamic notes hold everything together in a warm, golden haze. The steam carries the last traces of jasmine and cognac upward, mixing with the smoke of the incense as the light shifts across the floorboards and the heat continues to rise
