Fragrance notes
Character
OT - 23 opens with a bright, slightly bitter citrus rush where bergamot and mandarin orange meet the metallic heat of saffron and the dry bite of cassia. That sharp, golden opening quickly gives way to a dense heart where sea notes and pink pepper add a cool, salty lift to heavy floral petals. Lily-of-the-valley and violet sit next to tuberose and may rose, but the flowers never turn powdery because incense, myrrh, and gurjan balsam press in with a dark, resinous weight. Lavender and cardamom keep the center herbal and dry, while juniper berries add a clean, pine-like edge that stops the balsamic sweetness from feeling flat.
The base pulls the entire composition toward a warm, smoky wood floor. Oud and cypriol bring a tarry, earthy depth that pairs with patchouli and vetiver, while vanilla and amber soften the edges without making the blend sweet. Sandalwood and guaiac wood add a creamy, charred texture, and rock rose pushes a leathery, sun-warmed resin through the drydown. Musk and precious woods hold the structure together so the smoke, salt, and petals stay tangled on the skin. Picture a narrow street after rain when the pavement still holds the day's heat and a wood-fired oven nearby mixes with the damp air and a handful of crushed herbs
