Our take

Is this the coconut scent that smells like a real fruit rather than a piña colada? It leans in that direction. The opening blends grapefruit and coconut so the citrus bites through the creamy flesh, and a pinch of black pepper keeps the mix from turning heavy. You get a tropical impression that feels bright and a little tart rather than sugary.

Rose and cedar carry the middle, with the wood giving the petals a dry stem that stops the flowers from floating away. Praline and musk in the base add a soft shell around the skin, so the scent stays near you without trailing far behind. The coconut lingers as the praline warms up, which makes the whole thing feel cozy after the initial snap of citrus fades.

The problem is the synthetic edge. The grapefruit smells a bit like cleaner when it first hits, and the praline has a plastic trace that never quite disappears. If you want a natural smelling coconut, this one will disappoint you. It is a fun, easy wear for sunny days, but the artificial tone limits how often you reach for the bottle.
