Character
The garden path is warm underfoot, lined with crushed herbs and damp earth after a morning rain. Alguien No 2 lives in this exact step. Mint and galbanum hit first, bright and resinous, snapping through the air like broken stems. Juniper and rosemary follow without waiting their turn, prickly and dry, tangled with the green bite of fig leaf. There is no smooth transition here, just a dense wall of aromatic foliage that smells like hands that have been pulling weeds and brushing past wet shrubs all morning.
Haitian vetiver and oakmoss ground the scene, lending a shadowy, soil-deep weight to the herbs, while tolu balsam adds a faint, sticky sweetness that feels slightly out of place among the sharp greens. The powdery accord settles over the skin like fine dust on linen. The limitation sits in the composition itself. The clash between the balsamic sweetness and the bitter greens never quite resolves, leaving a muddled tension that lacks a clear direction. It is a dense, slightly confused blend that struggles to find a single identity.
