Our take

You stand in a small studio with the windows cracked open to the evening air. The space smells of dried herbs and worn wood, and the person beside you carries something that fits right into that room. Potion No.1 does not announce itself loudly. It feels personal, like a scent that belongs to the skin rather than the room.

Eucalyptus and thyme arrive first, cool and slightly medicinal. The thyme adds a dry, green edge that keeps the opening from feeling like a spa product. Black pepper follows soon after, adding a sharp bite that warms the air around you without ever turning hot or aggressive.

The base settles into sandalwood and leather, with vetiver and cannabis grounding the blend. The leather is soft, not the heavy jacket kind, and the cannabis note stays earthy rather than sweet. Sandalwood smooths the edges so the overall impression stays woody and aromatic instead of dirty or harsh.

You notice how the camphor accord lingers in the background, making the whole scene feel a little sharper and more awake. The warm spicy facet sits low, supporting the herbs rather than leading them, and the person next to you simply keeps working while the scent continues to shift
