Fragrance notes
Grapefruit and mint hit first, bright and cool at the same time. The mint feels crisp rather than sweet, more leaf than candy. Nutmeg adds a quiet warmth underneath the citrus, keeping the opening from feeling thin. Cypress appears early and stays, carrying a dry, needle-like greenness through the entire wear. Galbanum pushes that green character further, sharp and slightly bitter, like crushed stems. Labdanum brings a resinous weight that grounds the sharper notes without turning heavy. Patchouli sits in the base with a damp, earthy texture that pairs closely with the amber. Musk softens the edges of the resin and wood, giving the blend a smooth finish.
The marine accord in the background is subtle and never dominates the greens. Powdery facets drift in and out, sitting lightly on the amber. The overall impression is clean, resinous, and firmly green, with a cool freshness that never becomes sharp. The composition feels more abstract than naturalistic, with the notes blending into a single atmosphere instead of standing apart. The one limitation is that the blend can feel a little uniform after a while, with fewer shifts in character than some wearers might hope for.
