Madam Moiselle
Fragrance notes
Character
Orange and mandarin orange lead the opening, supported by bergamot and orange blossom. The citrus is bright and immediate, giving the first minutes a clean, sunlit character that feels polished rather than sharp. Orange blossom adds a soft floral edge to the fruit, so the top does not read as a simple citrus spray. It is a clear, upright start that establishes a warm tone without becoming heavy too soon.
Turkish rose, jasmine, ylang-ylang, and mimosa form the heart. The rose carries a gentle spice that keeps the florals from turning powdery, while jasmine and ylang-ylang add depth and a slightly creamy texture. Mimosa brings a pale, airy sweetness that sits between the citrus above and the heavier notes below. The result is a floral center that feels composed and steady, moving through its phases without sudden jumps or harsh transitions.
Patchouli, white musk, vanilla, vetiver, tonka bean, and opoponax anchor the blend. Patchouli and vetiver provide an earthy, woody foundation, while vanilla and tonka bean add rounded sweetness. Opoponax introduces a warm, resinous note that leans slightly dark. The white musk softens the base so the finish stays smooth. The overall mix is sweet, woody, and aromatic, but the resinous edge can feel dense and a bit monotonous for those who prefer lighter, more transparent florals.
