Prime opens with a crisp apple note that sits beside rosemary and pink pepper. The apple gives a clean, slightly sweet edge while the rosemary adds an herbal lift. Pink pepper brings a mild heat that wakes up the top layer without overwhelming the fruit. This stage feels bright and lightly aromatic, with the pepper providing a subtle sparkle over the green apple skin.
The heart introduces cloves alongside Bulgarian and Turkish rose. The cloves add a warm, dry spice that cuts through the floral softness. Both roses contribute a rich, slightly powdery petals impression that leans more resinous than fresh. The spice and the flowers blend into a dense, amber-tinged middle that feels heavier than the opening and moves the fragrance toward its deeper base.
Cypriol, labdanum, ambroxan, patchouli, and castoreum form a dark, earthy foundation. The castoreum adds a rough, animalic quality that some will find challenging rather than appealing. Labdanum and ambroxan thicken the texture, while patchouli and cypriol ground the blend with damp wood and soil tones. The animalic castoreum note is the clear drawback here.
