Our take

The opening feels sharp and a little thin. The green apple and rhubarb arrive with a bright, acidic bite that can read more synthetic than fresh, lacking the rounded softness found in more expensive fruity florals. It is a straightforward start that does not try to hide its budget roots, presenting a crisp, almost tart wall of scent before anything else has a chance to settle in.

In a sunlit kitchen, morning light hits a bowl of sliced pineapple and bergamot segments on a wooden table. The air is warm and still. Tuberose and rose begin to rise from a nearby vase, their heavy white petals releasing a creamy, slightly narcotic scent that mixes with the fruit. Datura adds a strange, humid thickness to the air, turning the clean fruit into something more overgrown and lush.

Patchouli and sandalwood drift up from the floorboards, grounding the humid flowers and bright citrus with a dry, earthy wood. The room holds the entire scene at once, the tart green apple still visible on the counter while the heavy white petals lean into the grain of the wood.
