The air in the open pavilion hangs heavy with heat, yet a bowl of sliced pineapple and green apple cools the table. Bergamot brightens the edge of each breath, sharp and clean against the warm wood. Someone brushes past a planter of basil, and the herb joins the fruit in a quick, vivid lift that feels immediate and unforced. Rose and geranium arrive soon after, not formal or powdered, but fresh cut and still damp at the stem, adding a soft floral layer that sits comfortably beside the spice.
Amber and sandalwood settle under the greenery, giving the pavilion a warm, golden floor. Oud enters with a dry, resinous weight, smooth rather than aggressive, while vetiver keeps the base grounded with an earthy, rooty texture. The scent feels like a dense tropical garden built around a wooden structure, where citrus and fruit meet resin and flower without one side overwhelming the other. It is sweet, aromatic, and distinctly woody all at once.
The breeze moves through the space and carries the basil and rose across the room, then brings back the amber and oud a moment later, as if the entire pavilion is breathing in time with the trees outside, the apple and pineapple still bright at the edges while the sandalwood and vetiver hold the center firmly in place
