Iris joins quickly, its soft powder settling beside the green snap of fig leaf and the creamy flesh of the ripe fig itself. The woods wait beneath the greenery. Cedar and larch give the stems a dry, resinous backbone, while sandalwood rounds the edges into something smoother. Musk pulls the whole picture close to the body, keeping the scent near the skin rather than letting it wander across the courtyard. Everything feels clean and composed, like a garden that has been pruned that morning and left to breathe in the heat.
The fig here leans sweet, almost candied, and that sweetness can overcome the crisp iris if the air is very warm. The powdery wood is elegant, but the fruity note sometimes reads more synthetic than natural, sitting a little too heavily on the lighter greens.
