Our take

Esperida opens with a bright rush of lemon and grapefruit that feels like walking past a market stall just as the crates are opened. Orange adds a rounder sweetness, while a hint of rose sits quietly in the background. The citrus is loud at first, then the edges soften as magnolia and jasmine appear. Cedar brings a dry, polished wood tone that keeps the flowers from feeling too soft. It smells clean and composed, more like a pressed shirt than a garden path.

The amber in the base warms the scent just enough to stop it feeling thin when the air turns cool. Vetiver adds a green, slightly dusty root quality, and oakmoss pulls everything toward the ground with an earthy weight. It suits a morning commute as well as a bright afternoon outdoors, and it feels equally at home when daylight hits fresh snow. The materials lean synthetic in places, but the blend stays cohesive and easy to wear.

The citrus accord dominates throughout, which means the deeper woods never fully take over. If you want a fragrance where vetiver and oakmoss lead the way, this one stays too sweet and sunny to satisfy. The rose also sits awkwardly against the sharper grapefruit, creating a slight clash that never quite resolves.
