Keora - Kewda Attar
Fragrance notes
Pandanus can swing harsh in the wrong hands. It carries a sharp, almost medicinal edge that threatens to push the whole composition into something that smells like a clinic. Some versions of this flower lean so green they lose their charm before the character even settles.
Kewda Attar places that difficult bloom inside a small wooden room. The air is warm and slightly humid. Sandalwood surrounds the flower immediately. It does not wait for a later stage. The two sit together in a carved bowl on a low table. The wood is creamy and pale, softening the bright sting of the petals without muting their shape.
Powder rises from the floorboards. It mixes with a gentle heat that feels like dried ginger root stored in a clay jar. The sweetness is mild, closer to fresh coconut meat than to candy. A tropical density fills the corners of the space, but the floral thread keeps the atmosphere light enough to breathe.
The scene stays fixed in this quiet house. The sandalwood holds the pandanus close. The woody accord remains steady while the floral notes drift upward.
