Iride Teatrale
Fragrance notes
Character
Iride Teatrale opens with a bright, slightly metallic lift from aldehydes, softened by the cool powder of violet and the clean snap of neroli. The entrance feels polished and deliberate, creating a shimmering veil that sits close to the skin before the florals begin to assert themselves.
Bulgarian rose and geranium bring a vivid, slightly green floral heart, while lavender adds an herbal edge and iris contributes a dry, root-like texture. Cinnamon and tonka bean introduce a gentle warmth, followed by vanilla and benzoin that round out the blend. Sandalwood, musk, and patchouli anchor the composition with a woody, earthy base that keeps the sweetness from becoming overwhelming.
The entire structure feels suited to a dimly lit room where wool coats and heated air amplify rich materials. It carries a classic, slightly formal attitude that works best when the surroundings are quiet and composed. The one drawback is the heavy use of synthetic aromachemicals in the base, which can feel flat and slightly plastic against the natural rose and iris.
