The drydown is where the fragrance finds its voice. Vetiver brings a dry, rooty texture that grounds the blend, while musk softens the edges without turning plush. Green accords thread through the woody foundation, so the scent stays outdoorsy and crisp rather than warm or resinous. It sits close to the skin, smelling like sun on a garden path after the morning dew has burned off, with fresh air moving through tall grass. The composition feels modern and transparent, more suited to a sunny sidewalk than a formal evening.
The one limitation is the palette itself. With only citruses, neroli, musk, and vetiver to work with, the scent never develops real depth or surprise. It is pleasant and easy to wear, but it lacks the complexity that would make it memorable once the initial freshness settles.
