Our take

Sunlight spills across a stone terrace where a bowl of raspberries sits beside a glass of cold lemon water. The air carries a bright citrus lift that feels clean and immediate. Sliced bergamot adds a polished edge to the fruit, keeping the opening sharp rather than syrupy. Rose enters soon after, not heavy or antique, but fresh and dewy, supported by geranium that lends a green, slightly herbal touch. Cypress threads through the flowers with a cool, resinous line that stops the petals from feeling soft. The scene stays vivid and awake, full of pale color and open air.

Ambroxan settles beneath the flowers with a modern, slightly metallic warmth. Vanilla follows, smooth and rounded, but it never takes over. The blend stays aromatic and dry rather than dessert-like. Rose remains the clear focus, anchored by the cypress and lifted by the lingering citrus. It feels composed and controlled, more like a tailored outfit than a romantic gesture. The materials read as polished and intentional, leaning into a crisp, urban mood that suits a bright morning outdoors.

The vanilla eventually feels a little too neat. It rounds every edge until the composition loses its early spark. The raspberry and lemon, so vivid at first, recede into a safe, predictable sweetness. Cypress and geranium cannot fully rescue the blend from becoming overly smooth. What began with character ends in a polite, slightly flat impression. The fragrance stays pleasant, yet it no longer surprises.
