Our take

Styrax gives Lune Feline its most unusual texture, a resin with a leathery, balsamic edge that sits underneath everything else from very early on. It smells less like a typical amber and more like old furniture polish in the best possible way, dark and a little dusty.

Cardamom opens things up top, green and slightly cool, cutting through the resin's density with a spiced brightness that softens as it settles. There's no citrus at all to lighten things up, so the opening stays dark and spiced from the very first moment.

Vanilla shows up in the base, thick and warm, playing against the styrax to round out the resin without turning the whole thing into something simple. The whole composition stays deliberately narrow, three ideas working in close range rather than a wide pyramid of competing notes.

Longevity runs long, the styrax-vanilla base holding its density for a good while after the cardamom brightness fades. Sillage stays modest, a warm, balsamic presence that stays within a small personal radius and rarely pushes past it. It belongs to the coldest months, worn after dark far more naturally than during a bright afternoon. Lune Feline stays dense and warm throughout, a cardamom-styrax-vanilla amber built for cold nights more than casual daytime wear.
