Our take

Police Cosmopolitan opens with a problem that never really goes away. The lavender and mint feel thin, almost watery, and the lemon adds a sharp edge that does not settle. It wants to be crisp and modern, but the herbs lack body, so the early minutes smell a little flat.

Sage and geranium bring a green, slightly peppery feel that lifts the scent into sunlight. Ylang-ylang and jasmine soften the herbs, while nutmeg adds a gentle heat. The blend feels like a bright morning walk through a city park, fresh air mixing with the warmth of pavement and clean clothes.

Vanilla and amber give the drydown a smooth, powdery warmth. Sandalwood and cedar keep it dry rather than sticky, and musk plus civet add a faint animalic trace. The herbs and woods hold together for a reasonable span, and the scent stays near the person who wears it without drifting far into the room.

The real drawback is that the materials never gain weight. The香草 and woods stay light, so the whole composition feels like a sketch of a fragrance rather than a finished one. If you want a bold statement, this will always feel too timid.
